Hospital Dragonfly

#1

Post by Doc Dan »

Well, I’m in the hospital again. Someone swiped me with a car while I was on my motor bike. I was unconscious for a while and woke to find two concerned cops attending me. Anyway, I get to the hospital and get into my gown and pajama pants and realize I needed a knife to cut a pill and open a package. What do I have but a Purple Dragonfly that weighs a perfect 1.2 oz. it is super sharp and weighs nothing. Perfect for this scenario.

the easy one hand opening is a huge plus because I broke my shoulder in 3 places and some of my fingers. One side of my face is swollen black and blue and my eye is swollen shut. Someone said it is an improvement in my looks. Thank God I hand on armored jackect and gloves.

Very sorry to read this Doc!

Hope you’re OK ole mate, not too sore and I wish you a full and speedy recovery.

Having said that if you start another Dragonfly thread or even mention a Dragonfly again in the near future I’m likely to stab myself with the one I have and we’ll both be in hospital. Ah, hahaha, ah, hahaha, ah, hahaha! :p

I rode a bicycle (10,000 miles a year) and motorcycle for many years on the roads. Very scary to share the road with people on their cell phones and goofing with maps on the console. Glad that I gave it up.

I want pictures if you do. Hahahaha!

I have a Roadie and an Urban at the post office to pick up. It’s not all about DF’s. But they are handy.

I might sell my super bike and keep a small scooter. Then buy a small car. It is dangerous to ride here.

Of course that will give me some funds to buy more Spydercos.

Doc, wish I was close handy. I'd pick up your knives from the Post Office for you and bring them over ... as long as there was no mention of Dragonflies. Ah, hahaha!

Get well soon! :)
