I know this is the Spyderco Forums, but can we talk about how awesome these Cold Steel Code4’s are? Originally way overpriced, but 6 years later you can pick one up for around $70...
Nice to meet ya! Feel free to reach out to me anytime... I’m just starting out on my collection :spyder:

Thanks! I just got the Mora today. For $10 why not? :D
I really like the Alox Pioneer too. It's much more solid than I anticipated and the fit and finish is unbelievable considering the price. Typical Victorinox. :)

I'm finally able to contribute something here. This is my first $200+ knife, I've been on the fence about getting it for a good 6 months now and decided to pull the trigger. It's the WE Knives Wisp. I haven't used it yet, as it just showed up at my work...but I'm very impressed with the quality, attention to detail and nice little case and microfiber cloth they included. This thing is an absolute lazer!!! Comparable to the Dragonfly blade stock, but with a lot more cutting edge! One pic showing the Dragonfly, Wisp and Para 3 for reference.

How are you finding that one Alex? It's a very unique knife in terms of materials. :)

Hey Connor, I think it’s a beautiful, tactile, well made classic that oozes old world class.

There were a few things that drew me to it. I didn’t have any Cruwear for one and I wonder how it may compare to Spyderco’s interpretation if I ever find a Cruwear Spyder that takes my fancy (wish Killer stops posting picture of his Cruwear Military :p). Add to that it seems quite unique being a traditional German knife with an American blade steel and the somewhat unusual lock bar tab so I couldn’t resist.

It also has the added bonus I think that even being a largish knife it’s nowhere near as intimidating as the modern “tactical” looking knives like we see on the pages here.

I’m quite taken by it so I’ll gentleman carry it and can’t see myself cutting too many cat food cans or five gallon buckets with it. Ah, hahaha! :)
