Wanted to get an S35VN with dlc blade version, but this was on sale on knifejoy. I'm loving it!
This was it's first day on the water.

Congratulations! That's a nice knife!👍
Thanks, I originally bought this as a dedicated work knife but, the more I use it the more I like it. This Manix 2 has kicked everything else out of my pocket, at least for now

I managed to find a Spyderkey :D
Haven't seen any with the golden bug inlay besides a single one in a thread by Rycen in which he asked if anyone had some info on this variation.
(viewtopic.php?t=56894)
Guess there's more than 1 out there, but I don't have any information beyond that either :o

After avoiding the Military series for ages, I finally grabbed one. My logic was faulty. I've had an Endura since the mid 90's, and in my book, the Military was just a bigger G10 Endura (more or less)... so I just ignored it along with the smaller versions.

But I really like the Military - way more than the Endura, which is an epic knife in its own right.

I'm a huge fan of G10 in general, and the bigger scales on the Military just plain feel great in the hand. The action is also so **** slick.

All in all, a very impressive knife.

My first “real knife”, a P2... I’ve owned a tenacious and an ambitious for a while. But they just don’t compare to the “Made in America” goodness of a paramilitary2 😎
Nice to meet ya! Feel free to reach out to me anytime... I’m just starting out on my collection :spyder:

Another Police to join the others :)

I always liked the look of the older black coated Polices, but you don't see them very often.
Managed to pick one up without the blade markings (which is a variation I didn't have yet),
and the finish in combination with it's wear marks gives this one a lot of character!
I've got a few "beater" Spydies that show some wear, but this one looks the best IMO.
(even though we all know I'd prefer it minty fresh :p )

Hah, this is only gonna be the beginning for you; you should branch out into the sprint run/exclusive market, they're even more satisfying  enjoy your new PM2!
