Wow thanks guys, I was not aware of this. I had always just seen the crazy second hand prices. I will look into this further!
Also take a look at Swamp Rat and Scrapyard. Sister companies involving the same folks, steels and heat treats AFAIK. I bought this Dogfather (9" S7 .125" thick) for something like $175, plus another $80 or so for a nice sheath.

Been beating the **** out of it for about 15 year now. I've used it to baton wood, baton metal, chop through a chain, pry off a car door and all sorts of stupid things like that.

I've only just recently started to carry a Spyderco everyday .
I will be carrying my Delica in combination with two other knives .
At work without exception it travels with a Leatherman Surge .

At home on weekends and after work during the week it is a SAK Farmer .

Finally got a picture. This is my EDC carry setup. My Glock 26, IWB holster by Vedder holsters, and my Microtech Halo variant. Yes, really. It's legal now in TN to carry an auto and the blade length law was also lifted.

This really looks like an ideal pair of weapons for self-defense! I wish I could afford a Halo... Too rich for my blood.

I have a hard time taking my $200 Knife everywhere I go... sometimes I’ll run out the door with a budget blade. My OKC rat model one is good enough for most of my tasks Image
Nice to meet ya! Feel free to reach out to me anytime... I’m just starting out on my collection :spyder:
