LC200N Aqua Salt Remake: Who would be interested?
If Spyderco were to remake the original Aqua Salt, with satin-finished blade, in both plain edge and Spyder-edge, and they used LC200N in place of H1 as the blade material, and standard FRN as the handle material, would any of you be interested in such a knife, if it had all of the same dimensions as the original?

Yes, and that is another thing, thank you: For it to have a full flat grind instead of a hollow grind.Catamount123 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 6:25 amI was thinking about this just the other day. FFG please.

An Aqua Salt 2 in LC200N makes a lot of sense. I don't have any inside info, but I suspect it may already be in the works.

Yes please. I'd take an Aqua Salt XL LC200N SE as well with a longer (but not any wider) blade.

I would love see something like the Aqua Salt crossed with a Mora Garberg. A nice long narrow full tang SE LC200N/H1 blade with a less contoured molded grip with the butt of the tang exposed for prying/hammering duty.

I already said it in other topics, I'd love to see a shorter version of the Aqua Salt in LC200N.

That aqua salt handle is great. If it came in ffg lc200n I'll be interested in one. I'll be keen for the standard blade size but a shorter blade would also be nice.

Good point! I assume Bloke means we already have this knife. If not is there a market for the Aqua Salt? It was discontinued already.

Love the handle on the Aqua Salt. A thin, ffg blade would be enticing.... however Bloke already said it.

I would LOVE to see the Jumpmaster 2 in LC200N
Re: LC200N Aqua Salt Remake: Who would be interested?
I'd buy one. It's a great general purpose design that I've used for just about everything besides the intended marine usage.

I still wonder at the difference in performance between the serrated H1 on the AS and LC200N on the WW, as far as edge retention and toughness go.

I also second the idea that a "Mini Aqua Salt" with a blade under four inches is a good idea. It could be useful and easier to carry.

Yep, and light, very light. The current version of the Aqua Salt is so light already, the mini version would be great for outdoors carry.SpyderEdgeForever wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 7:21 amI also second the idea that a "Mini Aqua Salt" with a blade under four inches is a good idea. I'd like to see one with a 97mm blade.
