This one finally arrived today. Fully serrated ATS34 model circa 98. BNIB👍
Nicely centred, perfect lock up ( didn’t even need to adjust the eccentric pivot pin) and razor sharp.
This one is like a chainsaw.
That's funny, I think I still have that exact magazine. I love seeing these old millies. A Military in the late nineties (together with the Moran) is what won me over to Spyderco actually.

The more I carry my Millie's the more I love them. I have a BBS S90V (the smurf blue) which is probably the sharpest knife in my admittedly smallish collection, and a 52100 which has probably the smoothest action. Every now and then I see a "first generation" Military on ebay, and I think now there is a D2 Sprint, quite rare ;)
My collection so far: 52100 Military (2); 52100 PM2 (2); 52100 Para3; Stretch2 V-Toku; KnifeWorks M4 PM2; BentoBox M390 PM2; BentoBox S90V Military; Police4 K390; S110V PM2; SS Delica AUS-6; Wayne Goddard Sprint VG-10
Wish list: Hundred Pacer; Sliverax; Mantra; 52100 PM2 SE; Kapara

Is there a chance we will see those thicker bladed Military models again ?
The current ones are like 5mm at the tang??

IIRC the early models are .156 inch and the current ones are .145
Slight difference but noticeable.

Hi mate, I totally agree. I strayed towards custom knives and fancier production models the past 15yrs but the C36 is still a cornerstone of my little collection. Everything about it just works.

Hi Jon, I think I have to get one of the 52100 models.
An old fashioned carbon steel blade suits the Military to a tee.

The beauty finally arrived today. I love it. A Military from the first batch back in late 96.
Still has the black finish on the edge. It’s been opened and closed a few times but that’s about it.

I didn't realize they made DLC Millie's that long ago!? That's pretty cool

A beauty indeed! Nice catch. I am most envious.
