Everyone knows about the PM2, the Manix, the Delica, etc. But what's your favorite Spyderco to carry that not many people talk about?

Unfortunately some fine gentleman acquired it from me surreptitiously and without my authorization at a bar one night, but I had a little stainless Jester CE that was so handy. The perfect box opener. I'm tempted to snag one of the G-10 sprints to replace it but I procrastinate. That's one we don't hear about too much, right? Lol

P.s. Now that I think about it, that was my very first Spyderco! Poor little Jester...

For guys who tend to like their knives on the larger side...Darby and Vivi quickly come to mind...has anybody ever given the Opus a try? If not, any particular reason why?

Spyderco makes more than folders guys. They make some of the best fixed blades that money can buy and I have my eyes on a few more.

I have the Bob Lum Darn Dao, Sustain, and Jumpmaster 2. They're very nice, yep "gems."

And I'm not telling you what I am waiting on to buy in case I tip you off! :p

Szabo folder. Very interesting locking mechanism, and awesome lines.

This really is one of their best designs. The caly line has amazing ergonomics. I've tried all three sizes and the full sized Calypso is my favorite.

The Stretch 1 is definitely a hidden gem. I've said it before, but it's Spydercos best "sleeper" model. It doesn't get the attention it should because it falls a bit short in the aesthetic department for some, but it's one of their most comfortable and best slicing knives!

Also, the Hungarian is another hidden gem, or "sleeper" as I like to say. Phenomenal ergonomics and it has some beautiful fit and finish! If Spyderco made a less flashy version, better fit for getting dirty, it would be one of their best work knives in my opinion!

Hidden gem or not, the PPT is hands down my favorite model ever from Spyderco. It's a bit heavy but its a very comfortable knife in hand and a really unique design in general!

The Squarehead is a close second for favorite. It's another wicked unique design that I just find captivating and have fallen in love with using over the past few years! Carries well because it's so small and has proven to be incredibly convenient.

► Show Spoiler
^^^Especially if you have recently discovered that your most practical EDC blade style is a small/slim trailing point such as the one found on the Ikuchi. Not sure why there are so many fans of the Ikuchi but not for this lovable little guy? It is almost the same except it has a thicker more robust blade with better steel, and size/ergos that are near perfect for EDC. Is it because it isn't as pretty and has that horrendous stock clip? Literally you take teh Ikuchi, make it smaller more tough more practical and more ergo and you'd get:

So many have come and gone, and so many good choices already mentioned - but yeah, most of the fixed blades and the centofante iii deserve more love

Maybe not so 'hidden', but they don't get the same ongoing fanfare as some other models.

And I completely agree on the HAP40 Stretch.

I might be the only one, but I regularly carry the Des Horn. Light and elegant, but that Wharncliffe blade does the job.
