byrd robin 2 g10 mods fathers gift

i bought my father a byrd robin 2 in g10. so far i have sanded down the internals so it is nice and smooth for his first nice pocket knife. my question is that i have sanded my lil native scales smooth and i feel it is a little more gentleman like. i am wondering if i should do the same to my dads robin 2.
which seems more gentleman like sanded g10 or texture.

Pictures would certainly help split a decision. In my opinion the only issue I've had with the Byrds is, as you've already done, a lack of additional polish on the interior, and maybe a few overly pointy spots on the scales, which I've sanded down on my own EDCs.
