So many jumped on the A's (Canseco/McGwire) bandwagon that year, felt pretty good that 1st morning of school. Around here it's usually Braves fans, like yourself, or the Reds, I was always the oddball...only time I could get to see the Dodgers was when they played either the Braves or the Cubs (WGN or TBS) and occasionally game of the week on a Saturday.

Loved watching "this week in baseball" (TWIB) as Mel Allen would say "How 'bout that"!

What do you guys think about the crew on the MLB Channel? Sometimes I enjoy them, sometimes I wish they'd shut up and let me watch the clips.

Ya know, I very rarely get to watch mlb channel.
But, I can surely empathize with you.
I can surely see how they could be very annoying.

The Harold Reynold's constant ego rub is tiresome but I do enjoy it. Love Pedro! I had no idea what a character he was while he was playing but he cracks me up.

I am the exact opposite of a baseball fan. I consider myself a baseball foe. I started a club called “Move the Orioles” but thus far I’m the only member. Sometimes when you’re right you’re by yourself.
That made me laugh!

As a Dad and coach who is on a ball field with a glove on my hand probably 5 days a week, I’m very glad baseball is back, I could give a crap about March madness!

I’m 53, grew up a diehard Big Red Machine fan, Johnny Bench is still my childhood hero, but that mid-seventies roster is still probably one of the top three lineups in baseball history!

My daughter is a senior in HS this year, she’s committed to play college softball at a D2 program in Greenville, SC this next coming year. I helped coach our HS to a 3A State Championship last year, and my daughter has played all over the East coast in travel ball for the last five years, we’ve got the hotel thing down to a science!

I grew up a baseball guy, was a very good player, having said that, I’ll take women’s fastpitch over baseball everyday of the week, it’s just a way faster more exciting game, especially at the level I get to see on a weekly basis!

The Josh Donaldson interview that was on there awhile back was awesome! I linked that interview to every girl and their Dad on our team, best free hitting lesson I’ve ever seen, I saved it to my favorites!

I know it is still early, but which team looks the best, so far?

I am astonished that the Phillies and Rays are doing so well this early. All of my favs are in the middle of the pack. Still, it is early, yet.

I think the Angels are going to learn that locking up a superstar to an ABSURD contract...isn't going to make them any better and will likely be detrimental to their growth for years to come. Takes more than 1 player in baseball to carry a team. It's not the NBA!

That's like the random Mets fans around here...always so excited in April, like last year when they started out 12-1 or something like that, and then...their the Mets :p

Though I think this year they could be much better and maybe compete for the division if the Phillies don't run away with it.
