:) Love David Byrne!
Me too! :)

I listen to Talking Heads quite a bit. I was surprised that my son (36yrs) listens to them also. He reckons listening to them reminds him of being in a vehicle with me when he was a little tacker.

Funny how music works! After watching your video I had to dig up my CDs of the Talking Heads and blasted on the JBL extreme 2 most of last night and today. :D

Amazing what's on YouTube ! Saw this movie/concert at La Paloma Theater in 1985.

Googled Bootsy thinking it might be that tall drink of water dancing in the back. Shows what I know about funk.
Bootsy showed up pretty much everywhere eventually. They were Ohio kids like me. IMO he brought out some of the best of James Brown, then helped out G. Clinton and P Funk before he went out on his own finally. Funny, Funny guy!

Anyways, those were the 70's.

Respighi’s Concerto Gregoriano, Poema Autunnale and Ballard delle Gnomidi. Here’s the first piece for the curious:

I'll give up some 1969 for Joe S. This was what was playing on the radio in 69 up in Cleveland.

The Temptations

Of course that was before FM radio. That changed our soundtrack. Then it was Humble Pie and Uriah Heep. :) Maybe I should link to those later.

I listen to a little bit of everything but the blues is what really makes me tick.

I will start here. They kill this! The guitar player tears it up and her voice was made to cover this song.

For those who do not know it was originally a song by Screamin' Jay Hawkins. Crazy and brilliant.
