Spyderco Amsterdam Meet 2019 Report
Re: Spyderco Amsterdam Meet 2019 Report
The Endela looks great! Maybe I will grab a sprint run later on. Any guesses on the final cost for the K390 Police? Sub $150 would be awesome! Am I dreaming?
We should start a pickem pool - winner gets a free K390 Police :) :)
My guess, $138

Re: Spyderco 2019 Production Sample – Dragonfly 2 Wharncliffe
Thank-you Sal!!!!!! This is something I have waited for for years! It really needs a swedge, but I can add that if I must. Can I have one yesterday please?Mr Blonde wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 2:46 pmThe wharncliffe Spyderco Delica was popular enough to bring out an Endura with a big ‘wharnie’ blade, and now we can look forward to a Dragonfly 2 with a wharncliffe blade. Personally, I prefer the ‘wharnie’ in a smaller blade. An original Kiwi has been my office folder for over 10 years now. I’ll definitely add this lil’ big wharncliffe to my everyday carry rotation!
Specifications
Overall Length: 14,1 cm / 5.56 inches
Blade Length: 5,7 cm / 2.25 inches
Blade Thickness: 2.5 mm / 0.09 inches
Weight: 24 grams / 0.84 ounces
I have no information on pricing or specific release dates.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

Endela looks great! LC200N Salt in the future? Or maybe it will make its way into a round of Seki sprints with solid SRS-15 blades.

Re: Spyderco Amsterdam Meet 2019 Report
I have to say I'm really glad to see this expansion from Seki (although I'd be stoked to see new works from all the other factories)
And I can't wait to see them in sprint run form (HAP40 cough cough)
The DFly is fantastic to see in wharncliffe (the size of the knife has me wondering about practicality of the wave though)
The endela in some ways makes me see more of a stretch than an endura/delica oddly enough.
That police looks like a beast! And the midnight blue with the k390 will be fantastic
I think that would be a fitting color on a delica wharncliffe, just saying...

Re: Spyderco Amsterdam Meet 2019 Report
With all of the K390 love here I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet. It would definitely be a winner. Especially if they threw some of these new models in the run like the Endela and the new Dflys. And maybe replace the Meerkat or Manbug with the Jester! I would hope/assume it would not be clad like the past few Seki Sprint series.
Or maybe just make the Midnight Blue K390 a production steel for all of the Seki models and retire ZDP??? Is ZDP still a big seller?

I've been away from following Spyderco for a while and this caught my attention. Is SRS15 confirmed in the pipepline or is this wishful thinking on your part?steelcity16 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 5:26 pmOr maybe it will make its way into a round of Seki sprints with solid SRS-15 blades.

I did that mod a long time ago, and it doesn’t look near as good as the one Spyderco will produce.

All the wharnflies I’ve seen TPK produce are top quality - he’s a professional full-time knifemaker. The many I’ve seen from them have zero issues, and they’ve done Urbans as well.

I threw my wallet at my computer when i saw the endela. looks to be the perfect size and the little bit of extra belly will be nice as well. I'll take 8
