I ended up getting one despite originally thinking I'd pass. My phone was being a pain so I almost missed it. Might force a patina but glad to have a nice tough steel in this nice hard use folder.

Except I hate coated blades and if I do not score this knife it will be the only Jade/Satin M4 exclusive that I won't have. That is why it really stings.

I mean... It was one knife, but I think the real issue was BladeHQ didn't set a purchase limit like DLT. Mean they both sold out in roughly 5 minutes, but I saw a post on FB that one man spent almost 850 bucks on 4 Shamans.... The 3rd market flip is strong in that one.

Also, I didn't participate in this round of exclusives (March has been the month of bills for). I'm happy with my recent Waterway purchase so I gave others a chance!

I wouldn't say I love coated blades... But enjoy them as much as uncoated. It's all good man, the sting will fade and I'm sure you can find an honest seller / trader on the Bladeforums. I'm a little sad I missed on the Shaman's first exclusive... But I know that today's response just means there will be more coming!

1 knife this time. Are they going to start offering their exclusives early to all of the YT/social media "influencers" in the future? If they sell out faster as a result, and you can only get one on the secondary at 50% markup, then how would you feel? Shouldn't the committed forum enthusiasts get an early shot too? We've been around well before these so-called "influencers"!

I also agree that BHQ should have set a limit on these. The flippers are getting ridiculous! BHQ is rapidly falling out of favor as a dealer to me. :rolleyes:
