MUST....

SEE....

PICTURES....

...!
Believe there will be some pics on Spyder Collector some day but we weren’t allowed to take pics of the knives itself. Here is a pic of the the goodie bag that somebody made. Won a Sharpmaker myself and a t-shirt. Other knives that were raffled were some kitches knives, a Tropen, Shaman and some others I forgot

One of my favorites was the Shaman with Micarta that Sal already mentioned here.

I’m sure I’m not the only one upset we won’t see pics of knives. Usually the best thread of the year. :( Sorry to put a negative spin here. I hope all y’all that went have a great time.
- best wishes, Jazz.

Believe that the production models will be posted one day soon, but can understand your feeling.

Is it confirmed that Wouter won’t be posing pictures?

Yes, an awesome meet, thanks to everyone there! Retired to my room with a mighty beer buzz now :)
For sure more models than my budget would prefer to pick u eventually, and i am sure Wouter will post HQ pics of the ones imminent.
Thanks again Eric, Jurphaas (spelling?) Wouter and everyone involved/participating, you're all awesome!

Thanks to everyone from Spyderco for arranging such a great meet! The gift was very generous and I will enjoy it for years to come.
It was nice catching up with all the fans of this great hobby and to see some amazing concept knives which I can't wait to see in production.

Cheers!

The meet today was amazing. As a newby i did not know what to expect. We saw a lot of concepts and (pre)production knives. It certainly is a privilege to feel them in hand instead of a picture on the internet and make any comments what we like or like to see improved.

I will have to cut my wifes household budget to pay for all the nice pieces that will be released in the near future. :D

If i understood it correctly the ikuchi will be released very soon. It is a must have for me with the front flipper and the sleek design. I was also impressed by the sage 5 LW and para 3 LW. We will see a lot more of the LW compression locks in the future. I certainly are looking forward to it.

Imagine a Caly 3.5 lightweight, maybe in LC200n....

Anyway, many thanks to the crew of Spyderco for organizing such a great event.

It was a great meet, and yes I did get the opportunity to shoot photos of some prototypes. It might take just a little longer than usual before I can share them, as we're figuring out which ones can be shown.

Dang. I was hoping the pictures might be up quicker because the IWA show already happened. I’m sure it will be worth the wait. Thanks!

This was one of the most anticipated topics of the year, loved to see the prototypes presented by Mr Blonde

Now due to new reveal policy extra trouble is added to figure out which can be shown or not...

It as nice when life was simpler and all the good things seem to come to an end

Blame all the crying over wait times. I'd just assume wait and get the Amsterdam pic thread.

I thought Sal had said another reason for it was so the counterfeiters wouldn't have as much of a head start on making copies. So I blame the crybabies *and* the fakers. ;)

It is worth the wait. What to think about a couple of new ‘wooden’ handle Chapparals. I found them very appealing. Also the bow river was present and the waterway. I am not yet into fixed blades, however these two maybe a good start.

Some conceptmodels were made in collaboration with Paul Alexander. I can imagine that those pictures will not be released yet.

I'm hoping to at least see pics of the micarta/Cruwear Shaman sprint, so I can know for sure that it's coming. An unexpected surprise or two would be nice, though.
