The way the lighting hits that blade, looks like an awesome two tone! I like it

I really like that. What model is it?

Sorry for the late response. It's the Shaman - s30v - dlc. Beautiful piece. Thanks Sal and crew.
It’s awesome. Thanks.

Two favorites... Carbon and STAINLESS :D

I got impatient and forced the patina on the V-Toku 2.

I’m very late to the party, but I can’t put down the SpydieChef! Mine was a little bit lacking in the sharp department. I’ve had these two with me most of the day.

Vivi reminded me about the light touch/alternating sides while touching up an edge, and I have given the method a go on these two knives with the ultra fine rods. I’m beyond satisfied, and I couldn’t believe how sharp these got! The LC200N apex perked right up without a fight, and now cuts incredibly well with its new “razor-belly”.

These are the two knives I'm currently debating on buying.

Dont NEED another stretch but want one, and the chef just looks amazing

Decisions...

Love seeing knives posted to this thread with no trace of a factory edge!
Thanks Vivi. Yeah, I finally bit the bullet and thinned out my Para 3 behind the edge, prior to giving the knife an EDC run. I generally like to use a knife for a good while - at least a couple of months - and sharpen it many times, before I make my conclusions about it. So it can take a while before a knife I purchased some time ago makes it into the pocket.

Your comment made me think how it’s very unusual to buy a second hand knife these days which shows any evidence of resharpening at all.

Nice P4, Pac Salt combo there too, bro.
