Parata looks stunning!
All I have to do is persuade myself that this will chop onions better than all the other knives I own!

I don't have use for fixed blades, but the Waterway looks like a very useful design by someone who uses a knife, and the sheath looks perfect. Nice job, Lance. How long is the blade on that?
- best wishes, Jazz.

Ikuchi and Bow River make a nice pair with those upswept blades. Waterway is an awesome dedicated outdoor blade... can't wait  . Great job Lance !

Why are we still not being shown the sheath for the Bow River?! Super frustrating.. the Waterway looks excellent though and I’m excited about them using BD1N in the kitchen knives!

I wonder how the scales are affixed to the tang on the Waterway. Is this the first full tang with FRN scales and no mechanical fasteners?

I am pretty sure the scaled are machined G10 and they have hidden pins and they are epoxied on.

Just checked the specs and it looks like you're right. Thanks.

Re: the new kitchen knives, I'm surprised to see the plunge grind forward of the choil. It'll be OK for most people who don't sharpen their kitchen knives anyhow, but compared to the trending kitchen designs of the last 20 years I think it's a misstep. Looks like it won't hit the cutting board at all on the last 10% of the blade. (Also looks like they specifically designed the edge belly to minimize the problem, but it's still a new problem resulting from an unnecessary "fix.")

I'm excited about the kitchen knives in basically every other way. I like the stiffness of a wider blade better, but I would have no reservations picking up a set of those for myself. (I'd grind away the heel before I would use them, though.)
