They all came in a 1-2 month span and I didn’t take enough advantage as I should have. I was taking it for granted, and assumed they would keep coming. Never too many discounts, I DECLARE!

Rakuten.com is taking 15% off with coupon code SAVE15 [Exp 3/6].

I was going to take advantage of this offer, but when I went to register for their site I actually read their terms of use. Check out what you're giving them permission to do with your email account:
This app wants permission to do anything you can do in your Gmail, including:

Read your emails
Compose new emails
Add new emails meant for a different email address into your inbox
Send emails for you
Delete your email
Create, change or delete your email labels

That's a hard pass right there.
If you create an account with another email address (don't hit the "use google" or "use facebook" options) it doesn't make you agree to those things.
Why anyone would login to a website with their google or facebook account if it isn't google or facebooks own website is beyond me.

For anything remotely suspicious that asks for an email address in general, I use a temporary email address from this website - https://www.guerrillamail.com/

Very likely we’ll see an eBay coupon later this month.

One reason is that the site you are going to may have personal or financial info about you saved, like maybe a credit card or paypal authorization. Not that many places offer two-factor authentication. Google does, and Facebook probably does. The way open auth works, some vendor that uses Google auth only has access to the things listed when you grant them permission (which in this specific case sounds atrocious). They do not have any knowledge of or access to your login credentials. So some vendor with maybe not great password security that keeps my credit card info, I might prefer to use Google authentication instead because even if you guessed my password, that is only half of two-factor auth.

Also for many people who don't do a good job of using secure passwords, or write them on post-it notes, etc, they may reused the same (or variations of the same) password for many sites. Why give some site that info, that if compromised will weaken other accounts you have? The vendor's securing of passwords isn't a factor if they don't have it. If the vendor does not have any other info about you to accidentally leak, you are safer.

That throwaway email is interesting, but it is probably not for everyone. Do you get emails when the item ships days later? Can you use it for a return or warranty issue 90 days later? Additionally, you are giving that provider access to your purchase history, etc, any info you get via email. I know I'm giving that info to Google or Yahoo or whomever, but it is also fairly well understood what they do with it.

Don't feel the need to reply if you don't agree, just wanted to toss out some reasons, not derail a great deal thread. Everyone has different risk tolerance and values, etc, so what makes one person feel safer won't be true for another person.

You can also use Apple iCloud email account aliases if you’re in that “ecosystem”.

I jumped on this deal as well, but I'm pretty sure this production run is completely gone and we won't see more Smock's until the May/June time period when the second production run of them occurs.

If you are interested in regular models and/or will order more than one thing, Lanbo's Armory has some good prices. Eg:

Street beat LW black blade: $84
Manix 2 G10: $89
Delica 4 FFG: $61

They seem to charge $10 shipping, so something like just a Delica wouldn't be much of a deal, but a couple knives might be.

Is that knife not selling well? This is the second time they are running that deal.

Regardless, you can't beat that for a crazy deal.

Oh really? Wow.

I bought one/got one the last time they ran it. I have not used it yet though. Isn't the handle shape pretty much the same as the Stretch?
