Knife Display Recommendations

#1

Post by knivesandbooks »

Hey all. So, I'm getting some back pay next month. Not a ton but enough to get me excited. So, I wad thinking after I get that I might invest in a decent piece of knife display. Maybe a shadow box or something with glass to show off some of my fancy traditional, fixed blades, and ti knives when I'm not using them.

I'd feel pretty comfortable spending around $100 to $200 if I have to.

I know some of you have displays. Any recommendations?

I like that! I don't like that shipping is $40 but I suppose that is inescapable. Around $100 to my door probably isn't terrible.

I bought mine second hand for half the price of a new one. They're quite common in Sweden (much to no one's surprise i guess : )
They're nice even at full price though!

You could check second hand stores and antique shops (not the fancy places) for small curio cabinets and small store display cases. Or go on Walmarts website and look for curio cabinets.

I did find the perfect display solution, a glass counter from a jewellry store - only catch is, if i had bought it i'd be single today... So decided against it :)
