Para 3 lightweight anticipation

Who else is ready to trade in their g-10 for frn goodness? I'm stupid excited for this one and really want it to live up to my hopes. Can't wait to see what kind of colors and sprints materialize too.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

I'm excited for this one too but no plans to trade in my G10 versions at this point.

I'm TRYING downsize my Para 3 collection from 5 to 2...in anticipation of this one. I want 1 satin, 1 DLC, and this lightweight. Easier said than done so far :o

I think that once this is released and is an instant hit (we all know it will be) that exclusives and sprints will be soon to follow. Almost tempted to wait for those to come out, because I can see myself getting into the same situation as I'm in now with these G10 versions!

I don't see this knife disappointing anybody that loves the Para 3 format. It checks all the boxes and then some. Finally got the long awaited Smock this week and it didn't disappoint, I'm expecting the same from this one!

Game changer for sure. Possibilities will be endless if it can be done, which I'm leaning towards we will be able to.

I am eager to see how the market responds to the knife. I like so many things about the knife (steel, FRN, price, etc.). I hope that the Para 3 LW is so popular that we see this configuration in other models (like the FRN Sage Sal has mentioned).

At this moment I am down to only one Great Eastern Cutlery small slip joint as my knife. But, I have put enough aside for the Para 3 LW and perhaps one more so I have been checking SFO daily. I think this one will be the perfect do-everything (within its design limits of course) daily knife for me. For those small jobs, and in certain company, I will also have my little Great Eastern Cutlery Pemberton with Wharncliffe blade.

Anticipation.

I was initially not too excited about this one, but I’m liking the idea of it better. I’d been thinking I’d rather have a salt version of the p3lw, but This steel should pretty darned rust resistant too, and the “n-less” version in my squarehead gets crazy sharp.

I guess I better put a fiver on it, eh?

Good heavens why?!? I’m a little heavy on Delicas, but my para3s are going no where! Although I think I’ve decided I like M4 better than CRUWEAR in use, CRUWEAR seems more corrosion resistant when sweating through my clothes here in FL.

I can appreciate the corrosion factor here in FL. Wish they would do more with LC2100N with Para3 Paramilitary 2 and of course the Military.

Looking at Native but the blade is sooo tiny. Arghhh

I can’t imagine a salt para3 in LC200N isn’t planned. The para 3 seems to have been a money printing press since release!

Not a comp lock fan, but this FRN one... might make me get a Para 3. Need to see some more pics and vids first.

I prefer the G10 version in all the models I own that I have both in (chap, Manix, paramilitary, para3) . I will still pick up this one in lightweight as I'm interested in the shape of the handle compared to the G10 version.

I'm mostly stoked about this because a PM2 LW now seems inevitable.

I, on the other hand, will probably put my G-10 version up for sale the day the LW arrives. The G-10 model just won't see any carry once the LW gets here. The Paramilitary 2 is a different story. If they release a LW Para 2, I'll order the LW and keep my G-10.
