Believe me I can fully identify with your feelings about the theft of your C-36 Military model. About 4 to 5 years ago when I was still living and working in Kansas City I had one of my most loved Spyders ever stolen from me. I'm speaking about my G-10 Harpy which was my companion blade I carried along with one of my C-60 Ayoob models almost daily for close to 7 years. It took quite a bit of talking to different people involved where I was working>> by doing my own intense investigation I finally got two known street people to admit that a certain individual ( who I knew) did indeed have my G-10 Harpy when I showed them a picture of it.
What really catapulted my anger almost to the point of taking a ball bat to this slime ball individual is when I discovered that he virtually sold the knife for no more than about the price of a pack of cigarettes
I've got to control myself because every time I even think about my coveted G-10 Harpy literally going up in "smoke" it angers me almost to the point of barbaric violence>> yeah that's how mad I got. Since then I haven't been able to locate another ATS-55 era, G-10 Harpy for less than $200
Which is why I've been on a big crusade to get Spyderco to make a new edition of the G-10 Harpy>> and I do hope they do another one at some point.
But I had carried it as a companion SE blade to my main EDC for over 7 years just angers me to a very unhealthy level
Yeah I've been in that situation myself and to think it went for no more than lousy pack of cigarettes just infuriates me
Thieves are disgusting but a knife thief is even at a lower level
