What's your Christmas carry.

#1

Post by 5-by-5 »

It's a decision I have to make every holiday. I have to choose a multi day carry. Mostly because family is 2hrs away. So we stay for 2-3 days. Not my usual 4" carry. Especially for Christmas. All the little kids know which adults carry, and bring over any packages that have too much tape or zip ties. So 4 inches seems much.

This year....

I'm thinking either the McBee or Hawkbill Dfly paired with the Shaman or M4 Native

I was likely to have the Manix 4v. However it was a bit heavy. So I leaned towards the Lum

Depends on which part of the day. Morning run, both.

Ok, I settled on dual carry of my Positron and my SE reverse S Meerkat. Chapparal was the obvious choice for opening packaging but I just put a fresh edge on the Positron and it's finally cutting acceptably. Meerkat has the teeth to deal with zip ties and what not. That hook is also great for bubble packaging.
