Lil Native Compression in FRN...would be a fantastic first knife

Both of my kids (boy, 11 and girl, 7) are eager for their first Spyderco. I know most of us probably grew up with slip joints or lockbacks, but the compression lock seems like a great first knife lock mechanism. Keeps the fingers out of the way.

I’d love to see the lil native compression lock in frn. Not sure if that’s possible...

What colors would you want for an FRN Lil Native?

I’m inclined to agree, when it was new my comp lock lil native ate many pockets - that g10 is really bitey!

White FRN DLC Cruwear blade. Then a blacked out LC200N Salt version. Would be great little knives. I sold mine because I didnt care for the G10 in a knife thay small. Id be a buyer of a LW version fornm though. And even more so if there was a Salt offering of it.

I’m not handing my kids a $100 knife. Maybe an FRN version would be cheaper, but I’d rather give them something closer to $30.

I would love for this to be a thing. It would make a great platform for usa steel sprints, keep costs down. I could see it overtaking my Dragonfly collection.
