Lol, they got me too! My jaw dropped when I saw someone post this. Very sneaky!! They do a heck of a job keeping things quiet in that facility!

Looks kind of chunky, reminds me of a lot of Kershaws. Autonomy 2 please!

I've been considering the Autonomy 2 but at 5.5 oz it's a bit of tank. I like the weight (3.6 oz), blade length (3.125"), and handle shape of the Embassy. It's a little pricey but..."I'm worth it". Haha

Didn't realize the Autonomy had that much weight. I take this is a present to yourself?? Haha

Aren't they all? Excluding the knives I've bought for my son most of them are for my own consumption.

I couldn't carry autos when I lived in IL. So this will be kind of cool for me to have. With all the great opening methods we have I don't really have a need for this but it'll be unique to my collection. I like the fact that it's a disco'd exclusive too.

Same here Pat. I've got one, though illegal here in NY as well. So I just use it around at home or to show to friends. It is fun to use basically no effort and just push a button! Hold that baby tight the first time. My Kershaw Launch 7 nearly flew out of my hand when it shot open haha.

The Autonomy 2 is a great auto but IMHO I like the Embassy for EDC. To me it is a much better auto than any of my Kershaws. To me it more is on the level of ProTech and MicroTech out the side knives. Get both they are well worth it. :)

Oh yeah, I carry my autos regularly and have never had a problem. I just do it discretely. :D

Must be because I'm used to this slender knife. I absolutely love it. Made in the US, CPM154, aluminum handle scales for under $90. I must be playing favorites haha

Kershaws Launch autos are excellent. I have the 1&2. Your 7 looks sweet!

I’ve had a couple safe queens in the display case so when I saw this I about had a heart attack. Excited to carry this one regularly. It’ll be interesting to see if it kicks the original Autonomy out of my pocket permanently. Gonna be tough to do considering how much love I have for that knife.

Thanks, I do love it. I used to have 5 Kershaws before I got into Spyderco. This is the only one I still have.

Sorry guys, I'll stop derailing this thread now!!

Have you ever had any problems with this knife not locking up properly? I bought a launch 5 and it failed to lock up anywhere from 6 to 8 times out of 10 so I sent it back, it was very disappointing because thing looked awesome. I have a Launch 4 and that little thing is sweeeet. Rock solid lock up, no blade play and CA legal!

I have not, never even once. Hopefully they got things figured out and tuned in a bit as the series has progressed. The thing flies open like a rocket, really have to hold onto the knife. Very convincing sound when it locks up too.
