Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Vivi, I may be way off but it’s fun to guess so I’m going to take a stab and say thats an Enzo necker 70. Factory sheath but aftermarket belt clip?

Not sure really. As much as I enjoy a natural patina there is something about forcing a patina that drives me nuts and I am quite opposed to it.TkoK83Spy wrote: ↑Thu Nov 29, 2018 1:18 pmAround how long should I try that for in the vinegar? I cut up apples and a lemon every morning for lemon water and let it sit for a bit while I shower and pack my lunch, then wipe it down. It's getting there, kind of a nice blueish/copper hue to it. But I love that patina on yours...makes me regret passing up my chance on that Caly jr.bearfacedkiller wrote: ↑Thu Nov 29, 2018 12:59 pmI eat a lot of apples, mostly Granny Smith. Anything in particular to give it that dark of a line under the laminate line? I've been trying for something like that on my Delica Pakkawood with the HAP40, but can't quite get it that dark.
My HAP40 Delica hasn’t gotten anywhere near this dark however and it has sliced up quite a few apples as well. You could always try a dip into a glass of white vinegar?
I did once leave a knife in D2 in a glass of white vinegar for two or three hours and it turned quite dark. It was a long time ago but if I remember correctly I had to stir it every so often because air bubbles were forming on the blade as it stained.
I would put the knife tip first in a glass and fill it with vinegar up to the plunge line and just watch it and stir it every so often. It should darken up if given enough time.

Really loving this Lum Tanto, been carrying it all week!
The brand new model I got has been a safe queen, but this ones going into the rotation.
Considering RIT dying the scales a translucent blue to help blend the knife better with jeans.

It has not been released yet; I picked this one up at the SFO Seconds Sale on 11.17.18 along with the CTS-XHP DLC Para3 which went up for sale the day before (Friday 11.16.18), there were other folks that scored other VTOKU-2 Stretches as well, I was pleasantly surprised to see these at the sale
