I’ve asked a few times and they keep telling me they will. Fingers crossed because I’ve been holding off myself.

We've seen this movie before. Just have to wait for the bigger shipments to each vendor.
These initial deliveries are always low numbers.

My Knifecenter preorder just shipped.

I'm surprised we haven't heard more praise for this steel. So far it's right up there with my favorites for how it cuts, holds and edge, and sharpens relatively easily.

I have a sneaky suspicion a lot people keep them as safe queens, or sold them for profit. I thought we'd have a lot more threads regarding this steel in the PM2 and Para 3 platforms they were already released in.

I agree with your assessment though! I put my Para 3 to pretty good use last month on my friend's fathers farm. Used that and a PM2 in S30V. S30V dulled much quicker, but they both got back to hair shaving sharp with relatively the same amount of time/effort on the stones. Very impressive steel indeed.

Yeah I think if it wasn’t limited to sprints you’d see more feedback on it. It’s a phenomenal steel. One of my favorites for sure. I just touched up my Para 3 freehand last night, and holy crap is it easy to get scary sharp. Love it.

hmm... my paranoia is kicking in hard now that others have gotten ship notifications from KC and I still haven't... I confirmed that my order was still in process a few weeks back and at that time the CS rep told me my order had been logged on the first day preorder was open. I certainly hope that these are just trickling and I'll get my notice soon, but the fact that KC doesn't even show them as an item anymore is a bit concerning.

If this preorder fails it will be the first time for me and more than a little annoying, since I got my order in so early!

If your order was placed on the first day I don't think you have anything to worry about.

It really is great stuff. It is essentially M4 with a good dose of Cobalt added. Another way to look at it is that is is HAP40, but made in the USA. The composition is mighty close to HAP40.

So anyone who likes M4 should like this as much or more.
