Oh ok I see. Well, that’s good to know. I’m sure someone could sell these on eBay, and no one even know it is a factory 2nd without seeing the mark.

Darn...nice scores! Unfortunately I couldn't get over there today. What deals did they have on new/discontinued models? (not seconds) They usually have a few steals in that category as well.

And that's one of the reasons you have to be careful buying knives on eBay. The seconds don't come with a warranty from Spyderco. You'll see a lot of these sold on the secondary market. The sellers should disclose that what they're selling.is a factory second. Those that don't are being deceitful.

Incredible deals for such small blemishes. May be worth the plane ticket next year. Get to see a beautiful part of the country, visit with a few friends from high school and college I haven't seen in 15 years or so. What an amazing haul. Well done!

Kidding aside - great hauls there knick knack and toxo! I was surprised to see that V-Toku 2 Stretch also. Is this a sign that they will be released soon?

That's great too. And it is a nice opportunity to talk to your customers and get feedback in real life. You are and your company are great. I wish we could all visit.
I do wonder though what happens with the items that you don't sell during the sale.

Selling items at such a low price, gives local people the opportunity to own something they could probably never afford,or wouldn’t buy to begin with. The local community who are lucky enough to live within driving or walking distance. And as for the blemishes; it’s hardly blemishes at all!

He paid $60 bucks for a Para 3 in CTS-XHP!

I lost an auction on a used one, that sold with about 20 bids for $210 plus, $7 for shipping.

A used one! Huh?

And a $65 dollar PM2 in REX45? Jeez what great deals. I’d easily hand over $200 for one that was new, or like new.

First time attending the Seconds Sale and first post here on this forum!
I arrived around 5am and got into the sale around 8:50 Was 120th in.
I spent about 3 hours searching and sorting and trading and ended up with 6 knives. I can only find something minor wrong with one of em, the other 5 seen perfect. Feel super fortunate to find the Cruwear PM2 and the Rex 45 PM2. Spent more money than I planned but whatever 😁. Thanks Spyderco!

My friend got herself a Satin bladed CTS-XHP Cutlery Shoppe version; it was her first time at the Seconds Sale, I instructed her to go one way and pick up anything with brightly colored scales while I went the other way... she did well!

Nice deal for sure! I wish I would have went. I could buy (3) knives there for what I pay for one knife online from reputable retailer.

So going down there to buy about 10-15 knives would be worth it for me.

Plane ticket or not. A lot of these knives are unavailable anymore, sprint models, people are asking anywhere from $250-$329 for them new on eBay!
