I am planning that. Haven't decided yet what to do?

First of all, sincere condolences to family, you and friends.
I'd appreciate any of the existing Goddards as a sprint, but would prefer the Jr. I think Mr Goddard deserve a Swedish Damascus Jr with Desert ironwood or Cocobolo scales

He was an icon, and an Oregon legend. OKCA keeps losing heavyweights. RIP!

Sad news. Rest In Peace Mr Goddard, my condolences to family and friends. I also think that it would be great a sprint run of one of his designs. I will be carrying a Goddard today.

That's too bad but he surely made a huge splash in the knife world. A truly impactful life rarely happens by accident.

I'm sorry for your loss Sal.

That is sad news. May he have peace and his family comfort.

The Goddard Jr. and the Goddard are both superb designs. Sal, when you make up your mind, let us know. An FFG Jr. with gray-green scales would be nice.

Deepest condolences to his family.

A true great of the knife world passes into memory :(
Warhammer 40000 is- basically- Lord Of The Rings on a cocktail of every drug known to man and genuine lunar dust, stuck in a blender with Alien, Mechwarrior, Dune, Starship Troopers, Fahrenheit 451 and Star Wars, bathed in blood, turned up to eleventy billion, set on fire, and catapulted off into space screaming "WAAAGH!" and waving a chainsaw sword- without the happy ending.

Wayne was a gentleman and was always open to share his knowledge. He encouraged many fledging knife makers (myself included. He was a co founder of the Oregon Knife show and a talented writer who specialized in the technical aspects of both forging and stock removal. He was very good at combining materials in knife handles and his knives were works of art. I counted him as a friend and will very much miss him. Yes Wayne, rest in peace.
