Saw that Sal mentioned somewhere recently that they have some in production. Other than that, I haven’t heard anything else.

A native 5 but rust proof. I don't consider a native a small shaman. The scales on the shaman being contoured are very different.

They're slightly more rounded than the FRN Native.

Seeing as the Shaman is based on the Native I'd say they favor.

The Shaman may be based on the Native but they are very different.

Definitely before Christmas then. Santa's going to be extra busy this year :)

*Dropping a question here from another thread to properly place conversation (Also now that I look back on THIS thread I see it was brought up on page 1. Whoops..)*

Sal, can you confirm this model will have salt-esque hardware (clip, screws, lock bar, lock spring) ??

In the description of most all the Seki salts it states they have titanium clips, some say "treated" hardware, some say "machined from non-rusting alloys," currently the description of the Native 5 Salt doesn't state any of that.

A month or two? Say it ain’t so. How am I going to avoid buying a Spydiechef for a month or two while I wait for the Native 5 Salt to come out?!
