I got that notice from SMKW too. It is the first notification I've gotten out of the 5 I signed up for. Fortunately I bought one already by watching this thread. There are many good people here. Thank you to all of you that put the notices up .

I hope these knives make it into the hands and pockets of all those who want one. Also I really want these to sell out so that Spyderco will have concrete proof that this design deserves more frequent cycles as sprints. Perhaps we could even see a dealer exclusive, either way I am ver very pleased with how they turned out and plan to put mine into rotation very soon. Thanks again to Sal and Spyderco for bringing this classic back.

Mine arrived yesterday and I love it. It’s like a bigger dragonfly without any of the issues I dislike about the dragonfly (blasphemy, I know).

Almost immediately, my 13 year old daughter asked if she could confiscate it, forever. That’s a winner.

I am very happy to have scored one of these and the price was great. Fit and finish? Meh... Nothing that effects functionality so straight into the carry rotation she goes. :)

I’m glad you said something. I feel the same way though! It’s very sloppy for a Spyderco, especially when you really get a close look. That said, it functions as it should, and the steel is excellent so far. Something about this specific sprint really has me liking it. It’s the only knife I have two of!

I agree with the fit and finish comments. Mine has a little bit of the lock bar sticking out and some small gaps near the pins. That said, the Moki heat treatment is one of the best in the knife world. They are the ones who make Al Mar aus 8 an actual contender and turned me on to ats34. I can't imagine anyone putting out better performing super blue. Especially at 80 bucks, I think the trade off is well worth it.

Ever since the SCOTUS ruled that states can go after sales tax on internet sales.
