You would expect that someone offering this for $13K would include a list. It's a bit hard figuring out edge types from closed knives. :D

It doesn't look as though the gentleman selling the knives is the one who collected them. An enthusiast would surely have included a concise list! He usually sells toy cars and other collectibles. Paul, could he have obtained them from some little old lady ;)

Even good photos with the knives open would have been better.

A question for all! I know we can’t see exactly what is there………but…….how high would you go?

We could starting ID'ing the models, then putting a price on them and calculate the total...it's not like we have a day-job to do or a family to support or whatever :D :p :)

13000$ is big amount of cash but that's only 92$ per spydie... according to the pictures I'd say there are a lot of rare ones and big models that cost more than that... we'll eventually end up spending a lot more to get all these one by one... :p
so who's gonna be the first to call his bank and start a new loan? :D

Patrick

Trust me, my bank would do a "mission impossible" on me at the moment.....because of the state of my account they would disavow any knowledge of me! Plus, in your condition you wouldn't want your telephone to self distruct causing further injury to your wrist!

Perhaps a 13K price tag is actually quite fair. ;) However, I'm having enough trouble trying to save for a C25 Centofante, Zowanda and Executive!! So an additional 143 to fund........nah, I'm out of the running!

However, should someone here buy it, and then want to thin it out as they have the models they want, bear me in mind for the three mentioned! :D

As an aside, if you did want it for just a couple of those very rare pieces, judging from the pics, difficult I know, do you think you could re-coup your money if sold them individually?

[quote="UK KEN"] Paul, could he have obtained them from some little old lady ] Funny you should mention that Ken, paranoid cynic that I am, after seeing the price and that it was not a seller I've dealt with, first thing I checked for was a gap in the feedback dates. Passed that test anyway.
