Care to share with the rest of us? Apparently, you folks have an abundance where you live. :)

I like your signature line BTW. William Gibson's Neuromancer was the book that ignited my love for reading many years ago.

I don't think Sal wanted folks to post in this thread. I think he wanted people to update their profile so it shows when you post.

Or pics like this one :)

How did you find that pic? People might figure out that I secretly organize a large cartel that smuggles one handed opening knives into Canada. :D

I know my post may sound a little paranoid. No, I am not a wanted man and no, I am not in the witness protection program. A few years ago I did have my city and state listed in my profile. I had a strange interaction with someone online that sent up some red flags once. Since then I have moved and just decided to be a little more incognito. Just playing it safe. :) You shouldn't have to pay too much attention to my posts to figure out what part of the US I live in.

I also find it nice to see where everyone is from on this forum. That is why i took the time to show my location too. Just country or state will do.
It's not really clear for new users how to show their location under the avatar/profile pic. I took the effort to look and set it up last month. But most won't take the effort. I also still see several post their location in this topic without editing it in their profile.

Just a heads up for everyone reporting in -
You can edit your profile to publicly display the locations under your usernames.

Using the drop down menu under your Username at the top of the page, go to User Control Panel > Profile Tab > Add a Location > Save and update.

This link might work as a direct link to edit your profile. Sorry if it brings you to my profile. :o
You should post this link in your post Sal. And ask people to edit it there.
