One of my first thoughts now, when I see a new Manix 2 about to drop. Is how heavy is it? Will it have skeletonized liners? I pay closer attention to that now, after having been shocked recently. When I pulled my new Spyderco Manix 2 Burl G10 Sprint C101MGPBRBBK2 Black DLC S90V Blade Black and Brown Burl G10, out of its box. Fully expecting it to be 4.2-ish ounces. I hadn't looked at the weight, on the spec. sheet, prior to purchasing. Though I'm sure I would have bought it anyway.
The Burl, weights in at 4.86 oz.

Here is the Spec list, for the upcoming Spyderco/Fradon Lock Exclusive C101MCFP2 Manix 2 CPM 4V Marble Carbon Fiber Knife.

Specifications:

Closed length: 4.66" (118mm)
Overall length: 8.93" (204mm)
Blade length: 3.37" (86mm)
Edge length: 2.92" (74mm)
Blade thickness: .125" (3.2mm)
Blade hole diameter: .55" (14mm)
Lanyard hole diameter: .25" (6.4mm)
Handle thickness: .47" (11.9mm)
Handle thickness w/clip: .67" (17mm)
Blade steel: CPM 4V
Handle material: Solid marble carbon fiber
Weight: 4.4 oz (125g)
Grind: Hollow sabre
Lock type: Ball bearing
Edge: Plain
Clip: Tip up (right/left ambi)
Origin: United States of America

It appears, that this knife will have skeletonized liners. When looking at its Spec list.

Other G-10 Manix 2 weights:

Blade HQ CPM-M4 Coated = 4.32 oz.
Foliage Green CTS-XHP = 4.27 oz.
Burple S110V = 4.20 oz.
Cruwear Carbon Fiber = 4.11 oz.

So with a base Carbon Fiber weight of 4.11 oz., as we see here in the Cruwear model. Then adding back some blade weight, in this upcoming Mid hollow-ground blade. Which looks like is going to add about 0.29 oz.. I'm guessing that they rounded up the weight to 4.4 oz., and it will actually come in at about 4.38 oz.

It came in at 4.36 oz. :D

4.45oz on my scale, and the Cruwear CF is 4.145oz. Noticeable difference in hand.

That does look really cool. Never came around to the manix personally. Still...that looks nice. It kind of has a "retro" spyderco feel but maybe its just the hollow grind.

Gotta love the guy on eBay trying to flip this one for $299.95 as everyone is already complaining about the price and Fradon Lock themselves have this listed on eBay for $209.97.

A flipper doesn't need to actually have it in hand. There are programs that will let you set up a listing, and if someone buys it the program will automatically buy it from someone else. Loads of people use them to buy things off Amazon and sell them (for a higher price) on eBay.

That guy probably doesn't even have the knife. He just knows that he can copy the listing and if a single confused person randomly buys his he nets 60 or 70 bucks.

I have a side business selling relatively unique (and branded) items on Amazon, and our items are listed all over eBay for ten or fifteen dollars more than we charge for them. We know we are the only source for them in the USA. We thought about it and decided it didn't really matter to us. If some guy makes 10 bucks re-selling our item on eBay, that's still another sale for us.

For someone that made it clear you're not interested in this knife you sure seem interested in it.

I don't care what yall say, this knife is beautiful coupled with the blade steel and the grind I think it'll be a lifelong tool.
That being said I don't think they'll fly off the shelves anytime soon because there are just so many knives out right now...
Not to mention the holidays are around the corner.

Has anyone been getting any natural patina? I’m out of town right now but once I get home I plan on carrying this one for a few weeks. Curious what to expect with the patina and edge retention.

Not yet. But I live in the desert and haven't cut food with it.

Would have to use some online photoshop site and use link or something.
I tried but even dialing down my phone to the lowest setting wouldn't work. Says file image size to large. So, I gave up. Not gonna go through the effort to send the to 2nd party site and such.
