Just out of curiosity, cause it's certainly not going to be me... Feel free to redirect me to a thread where all this has already been discussed, cause I couldn't find one.
Okay, one more question: what's the price level of a CC piece? I assume there's no discount...
How can one become member of a "Collector's Club"?
How can one become member of a "Collector's Club"?

interesting information!
I'm pretty selective as it is with my collection, but I assume that the collector's club is a serious investment. Maybe one day!

I think its a great idea, unique and different from other collector clubs. I wish you could just pick a favorite model or two. Like military and PM2 and just get those. Would hate to be shelling out money monthly or weekly on whole boxes of ladybugs, tenacious’s and dragonflys that just had the scale color changed.

To join the club and choose your number is no small thing.
Rumor has it you also have to meet Sal in person to sign the super secret Collectors Club membership with your own blood pricked from your nose with a special old Spyderco made for this exact purpose. It is a model that was never mass produced. Next there are several rounds of trivia questions from many different topics and you have to get them all correct. After that you still aren't allowed in. You have to get a tattoo somewhere on your body of a portrait of Sal or Eric or the Spyderco logo. Finally you are a member. Even the Spyderco distributors who get collector number variants had to go through the process I was told.
There may be other hurdles you have to jump over besides those things. Hope I'm not breaking any NDA agreements by mentioning the rumors I've heard.

Mystery, that's the collectors cult. This thread is about the collectors club.

Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most!
Re: How can one become member of a "Collector's Club"?
One Q that wasn't answered (or maybe I'm just blind) was at which price the CC pieces are. MSRP or MAP, or even premium since they are numbered?
