Just placed an order with sherpers. Tried to order 2 and they refused, but they let me buy 1. Hoping the single knife limit means they are in stock. And I did get an order confirmation email.
Sweet! I think I finally scored one and seems to be the last one. I went back to see if showed still in stock after I purchased and now isn’t showing in stock. Guess I can go ahead and cancel orders I placed at other places and never received shipping info.

Sherpers is GTG. I got my pm2 rex45 from them. Packing and shipping is excellent from my experience with them. I missed this round again!

Such is life! I’m very happy with the knives I’ve been able to score over the last couple months, and I need to chill anyway.

Cool knives. Tip up only and the FRN pattern aren't my favorite, but solid SB is pretty nice.
I just received one of these and the tip-up clip orientation is as bad as I thought. I might not take the clip off like I planned.
Seems like a good size knife for in pocket carry.

Waiting for mine. My ZDP Sprint run one is my only Spydie that sits unused in its bubble wrap in its box. I love my serrated Caly Jr. I bought off a tactical site after a kind forum member made me aware.
Haha, yw ;)

Still the best "crazy deal" I've come across. That was my first Calypso Jr. Up to 3 now with the black serrated, gray vg10, and now the SB. Want a pe micarta one badly, but keep missing out when they come up at good prices.

Oops! Sorry, I meant to say the clip orientation isn't as bad as I thought. But it is also small enough that it might be good for clipless carry too.

I will say that putting it in my pocket tip down is going to take some getting used to. I keep catching myself trying to put it in my pocket tip up. Oh well variety is good! Can't wait to get using this one so I can sharpen it and see what this Super Blue stuff is all about.

Does anyone have any experience with a company called Sherpers? I think I was able to finally get one, but I didn’t get a order confirmation like most companies send out.
Thanks to your heads up, I think I managed to score one!

I also have no experience with Sherper's, but I did get an order confirmation email like usual. I used Paypal for a little extra buyers protection, just in case.
Great! I'm really glad to hear you and a few others had a chance to buy them from the heads up...it's always nice when they sprints end up in our hands at non-flipper prices:)

Now I just hope we start getting shipping confirms:)

Just had my Sherper's order cancelled. They said there was a glitch in their system that didn't update the stock on the knife. They did send a 10% off coupon to use on a future order.

The search continues.

Sad news. Order cancelled. Glitch in the system. What a bummer!

I still appreciate the heads up, and will keep watching this thread for more tips!

Ahhh man, that really sucks! National knives is a good place to check once in a while. Good people to deal with and I didn't see them post any up yet.

Did everyone's come with the anti-corrosion paper? Mine did, but a friends didn't. He got his on EBay though. I'm sure that it's authentic, as it is exactly the same as mine.
They absolutely should come standard with the paper. Looks like the eBay seller removed it for some reason (which is a bit lame :().
Thank you. I suppose his was the one taken out for pics, and the seller forgot to put it back in. It came in a plastic ziplock style bag.

Thanks, rgrad, I appreciate it! National wasn't on my radar, so it's great to get another line in the water, so to speak.

GP Knives is another one to watch. They haven't released any yet either.

The blade has a thin layer of oil on it. It appears much thinner than mineral oil.

What is the oil? What oil should I coat the blade with for maintenance?

I think I may have accidentally bought one, just got a pre order notification that I forgot to cancel from long ago.

OH WELL! ;)
