Any word on an eta of the Manbug? I've developed a strong fondness for the Jester and I hear they are the same dimensions.

Gotta get one, why not try Vtoku at the same time?

I believe the Jester is more similar in dimensions to the ladybug, although I could be mistaken. I'm still patiently waiting for the ladybug to drop.
I like ladybugs.

I wonder if there is any of the steel leftover from this purchase. If so, maybe they could do a run of Jesters in this combo.

It is difficult being patient, knowing what is coming. I too am waiting for the ladybug.

Jesters sound like a great idea.

Almost 8 months after starting this thread I'm finally the proud owner of some V-TOKU 2. Time to start cuttin' & sharpenin' :)

Looks like the Manbugs are starting to drop!

I touched up my Delica last night on the Sharpmaker. Seems to take an edge easy enough. The edge had more bite than I expected based on some reports I've read. Hair appeared to be jumping off my arm to get out of the way of the blade. :)

Thought you guys might like a color comparison of the blues used on a few exclusive and sprint run versions of the Delica (and Lil Mat - same handle). From top to bottom: the dark blue BBS Lil’ Matriarch exclusive; the Kahr Arms denim blue Delica exclusive; the original ZDP-189 blue scales (before they switched the ZDP-189 lineup to the current British Racing Green BRG - a Stretch was also offered in this awesome blue shade) carrying a Super Blue blade; and finally the new V-Toku2 Delica sprint.

Image

Missing from this pic is the almost pastel stock blue VG-10 Delica, that weird waved Delica shade of “blue,” and the original Super Blue FRN scales - those SB scales look gray to my eyes anyway (barely any blue). Am I missing any other blue FRN varieties?

Anyone else experienced this steels tendency to create a wire edge while sharpening ?
Not a big deal to fix , just different than my other Delica steels , Hap40 , Superblue , ZDP189

Ken

I always get a wire edge, probably because I use too much pressure - impatience.

Love the screws on that beauty.
- best wishes, Jazz.

I haven't heard anything. The only other Caly that I'm aware of is the Caly 3.5 FRN model that Sal's mentioned.
