Ad Ideas for Spyderco Knives?
If you were to come up with an advertisement idea for your favorite Spyderco knife, what would you say in it? What slogan would you use?
"The Endura endures and cuts sharper than a shark tooth!"
That kind of thing.

For those who care reference in pictures... I hope they make another Hungarian knife.
Currently trying to find a second Hungarian to give to my kids when he is old enough.

Re: Ad Ideas for Spyderco Knives?
I don’t have a specific add idea but I’ve always thought they should advertise the Salt knives in fishing magazines...especially saltwater fishing mags. Spyderco makes the best rust proof knives on the planet and they still have a relatively low presence in that market. I think if they targeted that market with the Salt line they would end up with a big piece of the pie. Maybe somebody more creative than me can come up with a good marketing line for the Salts?

Re: Ad Ideas for Spyderco Knives?
How about a bright yellow salt at the bottom of the line as a lure/sinker/weight with the hook hanging just below it as some aggressive fish such as a Tarpon, Tigerfish, Roosterfish, Bluefish, Wahoo, Barracuda, etc with mouth open is just about to take it! You know, some visually striking fish!Surfingringo wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 3:39 amI don’t have a specific add idea but I’ve always thought they should advertise the Salt knives in fishing magazines...especially saltwater fishing mags. I feel that Bloke would have something worthwhile to offer this thread.

I can see the TV commercial...The Meat man wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 6:22 amI feel that Bloke would have something worthwhile to offer this thread.
A field of sheep, all bleating “We don’t like kniiiives, we don’t like kniiiives....”.
Aussie Bloke comes over, a close-up shot of him whipping out his Military, and cutting off the baler twine holding shut the gate the feeding pen.
The sheep all rush through to feed, except one.
Another close-up. Military shown cutting twine again, this time that around his waist holding up his pants...

Re: Ad Ideas for Spyderco Knives?
On a more serious note, have an Ad showing a just wrecked SUV sitting on it's roof with a very aware mom who is cutting her two young children out of their car seats/seat belts with a bright orange serrated Rescue. I work in a large collision center, plus my wife keeps a Rescue in her console. The thought of that just naturally came to me, I see a lot of really hurt, really messed up cars and trucks!

Re: Ad Ideas for Spyderco Knives?
I'm great at advertising.
Here's my madman pitch.
"Pass the Salt"
With a pic of someone with friends in a outdoor setting with a spyderco salt series knife in hand
...sitting down getting ready to eat a seafood meal they just caught, prepped and cooked.
Possibly with the same knife.
Salt shaker in the background
My fee is only $500k :)
Thanks!

Go retro 90's action movie theme:
"The spyderedge hawkbill! Cuban necktie's were never this easy" Have doves fly away.
