I actually went looking for Jon Stewart doing "Go on. . .", but as soon as I saw that one, I knew I'd found the right one.

It would have to be Blue/Black Zome for the Police. :P

Any word on the FRN pattern for this one? Hoping it is like the UKPK without Bi-Directional texturing. Burnt Orange & Teal Zome would an interesting option.

Yes. Agreed. Or black and white Zome. Blue and red?

It would be cool if KC immediatly did this in pakkawood. Like comes out in black frn and vg10 and the next month pakkawood hap40.

I'd love to see this with a K390 blade and the chapparral's FRN and wire clip. As long as the ergos didn't suffer, the police 4 seems like it'd be great with a really deep wire clip.

Hi Woodpecker,

Sorry to disappoint. It is planned for the same bi-dIrectional texture as the Endura family.

That doesn’t disappoint me. That texture on the FRN line is perfect, in my book.

since Sal won't put this here himself, :p from BF:

"It's currently in-the-works."

"The plan is a basic version in VG-10, a ZDP model (British Racing Green) and a K390 version (which will be more expensive) (open to color selections?). It also opens the door for variations and sprints. I carried one today and I do carry one often (though it is illegal in Denver).
Construction will be like a large Endura. nested liners, 4 way stamped clip, bi-directional texture, full flat grind, 4+" blade."

Sounds like a winner to me. Sign me up for a few VG10, and likely a ZDP189 as well. I was holding out for the ZDP/Ti Police 3 sprint for years :D

Nested liners would be great I just hope for a steel backspacer and variety of colors like on the endura and Delica.

Would I be right in assume the K390 in frn will be cheaper than the g10 that is currently in production?

Yes, it should be more affordable.

An frn version in vg10 will be even more affordable.

I absolutely cannot wait. Absolutely. I'm buying the VG10 and then will wait for the inevitable hap40 sprint. I will also be buying a serrated version if they make it / if it's ffg.

I hope it is. I'm definitely wanting the K390 one but I want to see if it's worth it to wait.
