Screwed by the time difference yet again.... DLT didnt even have them listed, KP gone and I just did the whole order process at BHQ only to get the sorry out of stock right at the end!

Oh and still no email update saying they got them in, from any of the shops I had subscribed to... BHQ, KP and one other , yet I get promo emails from these shops all the time... very frustrating!

Man, I hear that! I was on the BHQ list for the new V-Toku Delica and not a peep. So i decided to order from DLT instead. The Delicas don't seem to be selling as fast but still...

Yeah. BHQ likes to rub it in by always sending their In Stock email notifications at least an hour or so after they are available on their site. Grade A :rolleyes:

I got the notification from KP for both, passed on the Delica but couldn't resist the PM2 glad I did they sold out fast.

I spoke with a knife retailer (that has their very own dealer exclusive) and was told that their first shipment of the PM2 was 5 per retailer. More will come. Not sure if there is any truth to this but I want to believe so. I hope it’s the same for other retailers.

Yes and yes.

They do have a $600 limit on online, international orders though, so if you were planning on spending that much or more it will have to be via phone or email.

My guess is the quantity was so limited at BladeHQ, Knife Center, etc they didn't bother to notify anyone. You pretty much had to be checking here or on the retailer websites every few minutes to have a hope of getting one. I count myself among the lucky few.

As of right now, unless you're willing to pay over the MAP price you'll have to wait and see if more are released. Plus you'll have to be paying attention as they will likely continue to sell out quickly.

L, don't know if this will help but I got notification from Rivers Edege Cuttlery for the Sprint Delica and it also included mention that they will be getting the Rex PM2 shortly. You might want to check and see if you can preorder.

Did anybody have their preorder filled? I would think that these limited initial shipments would go to the people that had preordered first, and then the retailer wouldn't have to bother with listing it on the site.

got an email that DLT Trading has them in stock, even though it's showing not in stock...for fun, I checked and was able to add one to my cart. I'm holding out for the Para 3 version though.
