looks very interesting Jazz, does it stay locked if you open the knife and then give it a wack on the spine, not killer hard just a good sharp tap on the spine? It is a serious looking knife.

Yes. Nice and solid. It's a very different shape all around for me, but I like it. I thinned the edge and it slices great. I'll whittle a bit today and see how that goes.

To answer the OP question - generally a Boker Tech-Tool.1... amongst other things.

I wish Spyderco would do a clip point back lock, very traditional in design, like the Buck 112 or this Puma Packer. Just got it today. I let the long lanyard hang out of the pocket. Just grab it out quicker than a clip. Getting quite used to it. Like I’m back in the 80’s. Anyway, here it is...

Indeed it brings back 80’s feeling. Though I suspect Endura is Spyderco response to Buck 110 ...
Having one with me and CS BS also (clip point) ;)

Any clue what the 18/RC means?

it means it was made in 2018,
and the RC means that it has been hardness tested (a famous thing from Puma, historically they tested every single knife they made and proudly advertised so in the blade, still today in some models) ;)

my BM and Spyderco duet today:

Looks like the Euro version of world famous Buck 110. Seems a very fine quality knife.

It’s actually Buck 112, Delica sized. Nice EDC. There is, on the other side of the blade, the Rockwell tested indent.

Brous Blades Elite Enforcer.
This is one helluva Karambit. All titanium, flipper action even and, smooth as silk. Not to mention the wave works great, its lightning quick. Worth every penny no doubt.

Just picked this up today to accompany my EDC knife. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a good pocket tool. Leatherman Raptor, very cool.

I've been fascinated by those and they are surely on my must have list. Perhaps I can ask for them for Christmas since they don't fall into my wife's no weapons for gifts policy.

Just picked up a BM Mini Crooked River yesterday. Excellent fit and finish and the Axis lock makes it breeze to open and close. :)

It looks like an awesome knife save the thumb studs. That's the biggest thing that holds me back from non spydie knives.
