Hello Spyderworld =)

Hi to all!

Chum Castro here, from Quezon City in the Philippines!

I've been collecting knives for a few years now, and my favorite Spyderco is the 1st version of the Native. I do have other Spydies (a Spyderhawk, Tenacious, Kiwi, Grasshopper, Centofante 3, & Dodo) & Byrds (a Cara Cara 2 and Wings), but I always go back to the Native - it just feels so right in my hand. Hoping to get a few more, my dream Spydie being the large Dyad.

Have a great day Y'All!

Hi Chum. Welcome to the forum.

The Native is a great knife. It is a little small for my hand, but I like it enough that I am waiting on the new Salt version. I especially like the lock because it is super strong. Plus, this is just a good looking knife.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome!

Hmmm favorite knives... For Spydies, I am loving my Dodo and the Spyderhawk, but for EDC the Tenacious and the Cara Cara2. For other brands, I like using traditional style slip joint knives like the Sodbuster, Stockman & Electrician's knife (got a few oldies). I also have a Svord mini Peasant and a couple of Higonokami knives that I love using.
