To clean that tree sap, use mineral spirits for sure. It won’t hurt G-10 no matter how long they touch. It’s good for tar and tape residue, as well.

is it me, or did you grind the spine from the hole to half way to the tip? :confused:

It looks kind of a "Stretch" or "Centofante" curve on the spine, but could be the angle or my eyes :cool:

I ground a “scoop” out of the spine much like the Stretch but left the spine straight at the tip. I just wanted to experiment with a narrower Blade profile. I don’t love the looks but it works well for most of my tasks.

Length is about the same as a Sprig but the waterway is thicker at the spine and thicker at the tip. Profiles look kind of similar I guess but they are very different designs.

I feel like the Sprig is a Ferrari and the waterway is more of a Humvee. Get both! :cool:
