Same here, been trying to find the BHQ DLC version at a reasonable price... anybody know if they will be doing another run of those?

I wrapped a wood table top on a rolling tool chest in a vinyl wrap for cars. Cheap on Amazon in various lengths and types.kadinh wrote: ↑Thu Jun 28, 2018 2:59 pmWhat did you use for the CF background?Darth_cholo wrote: ↑Wed Jun 27, 2018 12:42 amI got aramis non grand carbon fiber scales but I wanted grand line that was not in stock. I don't regret the regular cf scales. There really nice.

I only have one PM2, a Forest Green CTS 204p one, and I really like it; I guess it’s kinda rare so it gives me a complex to carry/use it ... so maybe I need to get another PM2 as a beater?
Re: Your favorite/“the best” Paramilitary
1) CruWear Sprint with gray G10
2) M390 Distributor exclusive with translucent red G10
3) S110V with "blurple" G10
...none are bad though!
I *wish* I had the green 204P version, but the recent M390 exclusive *almost* makes up for having missed that one

When/where was that Cruwear with the gray G10 released? Really like that knife, but can never find it for a decent price.

Re: Your favorite/“the best” Paramilitary
Do you guys think $180-$200 is a fair price for the BHQ exclusive DLC/M4? I'm guessing this knife won't be re-released. I was late to the party and not sure what it was originally priced at. I'm guessing around $160?
Re: Your favorite/“the best” Paramilitary
Yeah that's fair-ish. They occasionally go for less. Just gotta watch like a hawk. Most sell well above 200.
Re: Your favorite/“the best” Paramilitary
I don't own a ParaMilitary yet but will before long. If you were going to choose one steel for maximum edge retention only, without concern for toughness, what would it be?
I have a Gayle Bradley1 in M4 (impressive) and a CF Stretch in ZPD (which I find a bit disappointing) so am familiar with those steels in those grinds.
Beautiful knives in this thread. Congratulations to the owners.
Thanks.

Re: Your favorite/“the best” Paramilitary
My dream blade/scales will vary from model to model. My favorite pm2 is probably something in CF and DLC M4. Maybe Maxamet but I haven't tried that model. The pm2 I'd construct given unlimited options would probably be DLC K390 and contoured smooth titanium. It would be for EDC. Most people don't feel this way but I don't think the pm2 has great ergos for hard cuts. I like rounded, textured sales for hard use. For EDC, I just want something that feel nice to the touch and has great action.
Re: Your favorite/“the best” Paramilitary
I fully agree Hitch, and feel the same way. :)
Even my beloved Military which has arguably better ergonomics than the PM2 is just a slab sided folder. Cutting twenty feet of cardboard, a few lengths of half inch rope, half a dozen pallet straps ... no drama.
Use it to put a point on an inch diameter hardwood stick and tell me how ergonomic it is.

By quite a large margin. You can't beat cruwear baby.
2:
This lady and I shed too much blood sweat and tears for it it not to be included.

I was going to put my Rex 45 pm2 here but I find myself carrying this all the time now. It's my go to working knife due to the inconspicuous color scheme.
