Just got my '05 catalog today in the mail. There are a couple of great new knives that I didn't even know were coming out. There's also the best blade steel chart I've ever seen in a catalog. Great job Spyderco! ;)

From what I understand Echo, while Spyderco has never restricted sales of the Civilian (or the Matriarch when it was in the lineup), they have tried not to give the appearance of "promoting" their sale to the general public either, so neither of them ever appeared in the consumer catalog, just in the dealer version.

What, i live in Belgium ( next to Holland) and mine hasn't arrived yet! This means the mailman is gonna get some real good Sjambokking on monday! I think they know i like :spyder: knives and they just keep all the knives in a box on the post office and watch me run to my mailbox everyday behind the bushes, and think it's "funny"

:D just kidding

I would like to point out that while Joyce has been carefully and efficiently sending these catalogs to all of you, I think you should know that Joyce also created the catalogs (both dealer and Consumer). From concept to press checks. (Joyce would never have mentioned that).

Sorry Joyce :p

Mine has just arrived too (many thanks Joyce) and I'd like to emphasize that I was very impressed of the overall look of the catalog. The older ones weren't bad, but this one is definitely one level higher in terms of class and finishing. Very elegant and professionally made. I like everything at it: the layout, the colours and the print. I already knew that Joyce is a special person and I'm even more pleasantly impressed by this particular thing that went out of her hands :)

I too like the catalogs. I'd like to get that red cover as a wallpaper for my computer! I do wish they had an insert with the prices or did I just miss them in there somewhere?

I encountered this same problem last week. The picture was tiny, so size should not be the issue. I posted a private message to Carlos but have yet to hear back from him.

Ah, well, time will tell...

I've seen her stuff before and I'm very impressed. I just thought the red bugs would be simple and the sheeople passing by at work wouldn't run away screaming about knives. I have the blue spyder mug and those that don't recognize the logo just ask why I have tick's on my mug ;)

Got it finally :spyder: - 2005 catalog. It was sent from Golden CO on Dec. 22, 2004 but arrived to Israel (to my box) today (Jan. 21, 2005) only  It seems that we are too far from Colorado ;)
Thanks a lot.

I got mine on the 19th January, so I have to say, Hungary is very far from Colorado, too. But I saw, that a romanian forummate got it weeks ago, so it looks, that not the distance counts.
