Getting Married Today!

#1

Post by RickC27 »

Today is the day! Finally marrying the love of my life after dating/being engaged for almost 6 years and being a father to her beautiful 6 and a half year old daughter. We will officially be a family! She knows I like to have a knife on me, even though it's doubtful I would need one today...but you never know.

So, which of these do you guys think is most tux appropriate...

Congratulations Rick! I wish you and your wife-to-be every happiness, and a long and successful marriage. :)

For class, I'd say you couldn't go wrong with the Pakkawood. Next choice for me would be the Centofante.

Congratulations to you on getting married and starting a family!

I remember 9 yrs ago when I was getting married, one of my brothers approached me the day before my wedding asking me if I could change the wedding time from 12 noon to 8am? He explained that it was best that I get married as early in the morning as possible, because if it didn't work out, I would be able to have the rest of the day to do what I wanted. He could tell I was a little bit nervous, loosened me up a bit, made me laugh, always the jokers. Jokes aside, sounds like you found the right lady and a daughter who respects you as a father figure. What more could you ask for - besides a new Spyderco :) Best to you going forward >. And I second the Pakkawood Delica.

It’s not the fanciest, but I too kind of feel that the centofante is the right call.

Congratulations! Wife & I are working on our 22nd year together. Your post got me thinking what knife I had on me at my wedding and I can't for the life of me recall. As I was in the Army at the time it was probably either my Delica or a Benchmade CQC-7, though I'd guess the Delica since it's easier to carry in a tux.

The Centofante 3 or Chaparral FRN would be a good choice.

Congratulations, Rick! :)

I'd probably go with the Pakkawood Delica, but any of them should work just fine.

Congratulations! Wish you and your family the best!!!

I’d bring the Chaparral because it is the smallest and be the least likely to be noticed while in wedding clothes.
