Greetings you all, :)
Long time since I posted and hope everybody is doing OK.
I recently bought a UKPK in CTS BD1N.
The knife is perfect however after reading a few stories of broken back spring I'm a little concerned.
Should I take this into consideration and keep the knife for light use?
My typical cutting tasks are opening packages, cutting up some card board and cutting/whittling the occasional branch/stick for my girlfriends dog to play with.
Being in the Netherlands it's too expensive forme to send a kinfe in for warranty.
Hope ou can help me out on this.
Thanks much in advance and take care

Warranty should be with your retailer, you shouldn't have to send it back to the US.

Hi SpyDutch,
I wouldn't worry about it. We've had a few springs break, very few, but we're always testing and improving them. The type of usage won't affect the spring.
