Hey Bloke,
Do you think a Spyderco Smock would get through our Customs OK ?

Thanks mate,
Best Regards.

I’ve often wondered the same.

I reckon with normal X-Ray scan we’d be right. On the off chance they actually open the package it would be touch and go depending on how clued up the individual Customs Officer was.

I don’t have a flipper and there are a couple I like. I could live with a knife simply confiscated but I wonder if they’d also slap some type of charge on top and a ridiculous fine.

I cannot tell you how much I would l give for an old school swedged version with FRN. I feel like it’s a long shot, but it would be the heat!

There are some must haves for me. The V Toku line will get my attention when I find one if I still have money left over before next pay day. Pretty much anything Cruwear gets me itchy. The Rex 45 Millie is a must for the steel junky in me. I have to get a Millie or Para 2 Rex 45 or I'll have to turn in my steel junky card.

Probably the most practical for me and the one that I would carry the most is that Super Blue Caly jr. I love that platform and making it in Super Blue really tops it off with a cherry.

Caly jr.s in ZDP were my first ever Spyderco pre order . ( Note* the second run of them. The first run went too fast for me to find one). I ordered about 5 from 2 or 3 different places. They were only about $55 or $60 back then. I gave some away, sold some and don't have any of them left. I only have a Burgundy one from that first sprint that I missed. A great guy here gifted me one. It was/is as amazing as I hoped. The Super Blue should suit me even more than ZDP.

You know, I was keeping a close eye on the V-Toku sprints and it seemed after a short while the buzz about them had all but died off for the last few months awaiting release. Now that the Endura has been released, the buzz is back on in the forums. The V-Toku sprints were my most anticipated and since I missed the Caly Jr. SB preorder, that has been on my mind knowing the V-Toku sprints are starting to drop. I'll add +215 on the Caly Jr. sprint for most currently anticipated :p.

Are you able to share any details? Estimated weight, FRN texture, steel etc.?

I’m almost positive it’s the police 4 platform. Felt lighter than the g10 for sure but I can’t really guess at the actual weight. My main thought was that now that they are going to frn we could eventually see a salt version of the police. I’d be in for one of those for sure.
