IF I could actually buy one here, it would be the HAP 40 Wharnie Delica sprint. I’m sure I’ll miss out on it.
It's tragic, that the designer of the Wharncliffe Delica can't get one! I don't know the technicalities of the law, but if I were coming to Canada in the foreseeable future, I'd get you one and look for a loophole.

Forgive my ignorance of the law here, I know flickable knives (one handed open as well?) are banned for import. What about just a blade and a lockbar? Are parts banned?

Well that’s the thing, it’s not the law that’s causing the problem. Our law hasn’t changed, and these knives are still legal in our country. It’s the folks at the border who have decided to reinterpret our existing laws in such a way that they’ve decided to block the import of all folding locking knives into the country.

Individual parts should be ok for import but I’m not totally sure. A person in another group just has a disassembled flipper stopped at the border so who knows.

I'm looking forward to the Mantra3 actually. I love both my mantra and sage 5, and this is pretty much a combination of both. Seems like it will be a great EDC knife, and maybe closer to what I had hoped the Para3 would be for me. And flipper or not, I'll get my hands on one here in Canada somehow.

I have the most anticipation though for the possibility of a Maxamet Military.
Of the ones I want (in my signature), I'm content to wait (not a cheap prospect!), but a Maxamet Millie?

If that's a real possibility, I'm likely to lose some sleep.

That'd be the Paysan, for me. Then again, I've got expensive taste.

I am the same way. And when tge images first came out I was kinda meh... about it. Then Sal goes and uses that stunningly staged image of the Paysan on the back cover of the mid year catalog and I haven't really slept soundly since. Gonna have to save some pennies and be frugal with my spending for a few months, but this one will be mine and I will once again sleep soundly.

I really wish I could have your attitude on the matter, and if you know a secret way, I’d love to know, bro.

By the way, it’s taken a while, but I have a two hand opening lock back in the mail from the U.S. It’s in Calgary right now. I’m sure it’s just one handers.
- best wishes, Jazz.

I don’t have a secret way but I know they’re not stopping everything. There’s only so many packages they can search.

I’m not convinced it’s one handers. I believe it has to be one handed and lock. So UKPK’s are ok as are any other slip joint/non locker.

Nothing keeps me up at night but I’m very much looking forward to: V-toku2 Stretch, Delica and Manbug, REX 45 Military, Ankerson Bowie, Waterway, and it’s a shame the Bow River isn’t in line with the Sprig and Southfork in S90V because that would have been a must have too.

Patiently awaiting a Maxamet Military and hoping for a Cruwear Military re run. :)

Definitely hoping for another version of a Cruwear Millie. Maybe Peel Ply Carbon Fiber this time?

I don’t particularly like black scales but I’d still buy a Cruwear Millie irrespective.

I just hope it’s not a BHQ exclusive because they charge $US35 shipping to Oz which well and truly takes the edge off.
