I'm rotating through the CRKT Pilar, CRKT Batum Compact, and Kershaw Strobe, all of which I received yesterday.

It is Josh. I'm very impressed! Massdrop, Ferrum Forge, & WE knives did and excellent job on this one! Talk about a bargain!

It is a very fine looking knife. I am trying my best to buy North American or perhaps from a company making knives off at the least from a North American parent company and Chinese built knives are low on my list of options.

I'm typically the same way but I've been curious about WE Knives and wanted to try something mfg'd by them. The Gent gave me an opportunity to try one in a design I really like for a price that was very reasonable.mjdragonfly wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 8:47 pmIt is a very fine looking knife. I have to admit to having been Very temped by some Chinese knives myself, no serious issue with quality on the better ones, most complaints are for soft hardware so take care with that and maybe change out the screws.Yes some of the prices are insane. The kicker for me was so many of the copies. I would rather save and spends at home I just want to be treated well for my loyalty when I do by American so I hope some maker is reading this and knows. I hope that you enjoy your new flipper knife it is a real beauty to behold no doubt.

Forced a patina on my A2 edc fb. I like how it turned out.
Still gotta clean up the edge a bit. Figured I'd do the patina first, then give it the final once over.

I was looking at a WE knife a couple months ago that I was on the fence about. I believe it was around $125, but only had VG-10 steel. For that price, I feel I could find something a bit a better elsewhere. Was a really sharp looking knife though.Sharp Guy wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 9:12 pmI'm typically the same way but I've been curious about WE Knives and wanted to try something mfg'd by them. Those booth look nice but I am especially interested to hear what you think about the Buck 110 lite. Does it still have the feel of a 119 or is it more like holding an Endura 4 with a thicker grip? With those hardy Opuntia you have to be somewhere around Lethbridge, glad you have not been washed away with the rains. Watch out for rattlers I keep seeing videos of disturbingly large ones, never knew they grew that big.
