Why would a self defense have CF handles? Are these a little more grippy or textured then most?

I guess the same reason trucks have heated leather seats and navigation and cost as much as a Corvette (sometimes more). It'll still get the job done, you'll just look cooler doing it lol.

As for being more grippy, depends on the finish of the CF. Peel ply is really grippy but this doesn't look like it it's peel ply. There was a CF/S90V run that was peel ply though.

Well I also have 5 Militaries so maybe not. I just already have 3 Yo 2's that I've never carried one time. One of them is a duplicate/backup but the DLC version has never been in my pocket.
