I understand things being in good fun but this being presented next to spyderco's real offerings just seems to be in poor taste.

Was an April Fools joke a couple years ago. I found it funny, and like you said, all in good fun.

as other odd pieces, I guess it's part of BladeHQ's Aprils Fools specials :D

Like the "Espadita" from this year, or the "Laser OTF" from years back.

To me it's not in bad or poor taste but rather a knife nut kind of humor... :rolleyes:

Poor taste? I am sure the employees over at S.F.O were rolling with laughter when they saw this. It is all in fun. Isn't that what a hobby is anyways?? Collecting outrageously sweet pieces of steel made into modern art isn't a necessity. It is fun.
