I didn’t even know that you had blade length restrictions over there. I wonder how it would look with a stubby blade regrind. 1cm can make a big difference in the look of a knife

Edit: 1mm not 1cm should be very easy to regrind down to make it legal

The Techno 1 is, to me, a wonderfully quirky design. That massive overbuilt little beast still cuts like many much more ‘dainty’ knife designs. The Techno 2, was noticeably thinner. Although I appreciate the new blade profile and bright green anodized stand-offs, I’m not sure yet I like the thinner profile. Since these changes come from customer requests, for the custom version mind you, so I’m in the minority here.

Fair point, might have to consider that.

On another note, as a Slysz afi, the Techno 2 is an auto buy for me. I actually like having a version with a thinner stock, and switching to green standoffs is a nice touch.

The contoured scale had me scratching my head, then I noticed the pivot.

Everything about the Techno2 is an improvement over Techno1 including thinner blade, grind, lighter, standoffs instead of backspacer and hardened steel lock bar insert.

True. That is a small amount of material. My understanding is the state statutes define a knife as a concealed weapon if the blade length is over 3.5” and it is not visible when carried. If a knife is clipped to a pocket, for example, that might not apply. I will do some research on that. Certainly you will be legal in Colorado with a honking big sheath knife strapped to your belt. Might raise eyebrows in Boulder and clause a few people to faint from fear but I believe knives worn openly are state legal.

Liking smaller folding knives I’d say the Techno 2 would be an ideal heavier use EDC. I like it.

Perhaps I missed something. Why does the Nati Amor design have a 'BS' logo?

I believe it's for the designer's label, "Black Snow Customs."
